it's my first time doing something like this, but i'm a black trans man, currently trying to gather extra funds to help my partner and i move out of an unsafe household to a safe state and home. anything helps! ko-fi.com/highconcepts

please don’t give up on transitioning no matter how hateful the world is, they need to know that we will never disappear like they want us to, we need to keep fighting. don’t feel shame in who you are, pursuing your happiness and becoming who you were always meant to be is something truly beautiful

in the aftermath here, people will be looking for alternatives. I strongly urge everyone to avoid "LoporritSync", which is a functioning alternate server for Mare hosted primarily by and for people banned from the central server due to explicit mods involving children

I know everything feels doom and gloom at the moment, but I would recommend taking reference images/making reference sheets for your ocs! Take gposes of them from the front, sides and back and arrange it into an image you can look at/link to others. Just what I'm gonna do since I have so many!

It is not! I use the 2D view to put it in and then stretch it, but the upside is I’ve never had any problems squishing it back down once I’m finished with it lol

To warn you it also doesn’t retain transparency either (at least to my understanding and knowledge) but I like the convenience of it being in my hands 😅 It took some getting used to, but I’ve managed to get some good results out of it 🫶 I hope you do, too!

Yeah the uv alignment isn’t the best—I tend to just work with the slight jank. If it helps I use the 2D view to draw out most things and then refine them in the 3D view when I work out what’s mapped where. Granted I’ve only done work on vanilla faces, tho :<

Procreate allows you to draw on .obj files! I do makeup diffuse work on there 🫶

If you see this, post an OC wearing glasses! He still needs em, even if he restores his blind eye with aether while he works or goes about his day! I imagine it lessens the strain. #oc:seliph
