iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

While they started the paragraph hedging their statement a bit, the fact that this was one of the data points they used, when we know it's performative and all for the algo is sad.

NGL, seeing this quote frustrated me. "You can see it in virtually any Collector Booster opening video, where the video practically skips over that section of the booster." Pack opening content isn't indicative of the player experience as a whole.

Or asking Copilot to look up things that you could easily find in support documentation. SMH

If "look gay" equates to "well dressed" then this is true :)

It's not just kids. Adults at my office do this all the time. Drives me up the wall.

This is the biggest of them, I was stunned for a moment.

Ours are all Lifesavers mints in the conference rooms. I'd be down for a Werthers bowl lol

Tell me 🧠. Why do you decide to start drafting a proposal for something at work at 1am? Can we not? I do need sleep...

They're creating a captive/dependent streamer economy. Make it easier to set up and keep people on the site. That way, when they decide to start billing it's harder for creators to leave and they're more likely to pay a subscription fee.

Now you can tell your local game store to stock Paragons and send them to IPR!

I'm out of the office, it's a regular OOO time for me, and it's something that I should be in the room for.

There is a special place in hell for people who do not check availability in Outlook before they schedule a meeting.

This should go for all customer service type roles, not just waiters...

A pie chart that is a solid color with a title of "Reasons why I'm polite to waiters" with the key color saying "Because I realize they're human beings, trying to make a living, not my servants."

If I ask "Hey is anyone else experiencing this issue?" I'm not asking you to fix it...I'm asking if it's just me or if there is a larger problem. I hate when people start answering questions I didn't ask.

Thanks brain. Rehearsing conversations is exactly what I wanted to do at 2am. Not sleep...sleep would be useful...

Random text conversation excerpt because it made me chuckle.

A text message conversation between two people:

A. Did I take a shower today?
B. I wouldn't know, I'm a bit far.
A. Lol so you're saying no sniff test
B. Well that and I was in my office and not around you so no way to see if you did or not lol
A. At least you're not admitting to having wired my place for video
B. Of course! I wouldn't wire your place for video. I'd hire someone to do it for me *wink emoji*
A. *Face palm emoji*
B. You walked into that one...just saying

This is just a toddler tantrum. "Fine! You won't let me have my way so I'm gonna go home." It's so ridiculous.

You know, I've hit that point where I'm just exhausted being nice. I really do need to tell people to fuck off more often...but then the guilt shows up. Why is it so hard to just do stuff for yourself?

Someone else having experience and information you don't have isn't a threat to you, it's a benefit. Be curious, ask questions.

There has been a lot of loss this week, public and private. Be kind and patient with yourself. Grief isn't linear. Some days will be better than others. There is no shame in needing time. ❤️

"How dare he not just trust me when I tell him it's not gonna work." Oh ffs, just let someone work through their process. It's not offensive for someone to want to verify for their own thought process.

It says in the article that while the official rules say 1 prerelease kit and 2 packs is what they promote, stores can still offer a prerelease kit per person. Obviously this affects pricing etc, but I wonder how many stores will take the riak and stay with the "old" rules.
