got a new phone (grandma took advantage of an upgrade deal with our provider; we're still keeping the old one thankfully) and decided to doodle on it to see how well it works :3c - Dusk

a digital bust sketch of a person with straight, chin-length hair and longer bangs that cover most of their eyes and frames their face. they have a smug expression and a floating knife is pointed at them

the same drawing from before, but this time colored with a mostly lineless style. they have light skin, red hair, and red eyes, and they're wearing a green shirt with a yellow stripe across it. the knife is colored with a silver blade and a black handle

Big changes are coming :3c ... And by that I mean we changed our system name lol. Hi, we're Selenelion Aberration! We go by Sol or Selen now if you're referring to us collectively Calling us Grey is fine still, we just needed a name that represents who we are now as opposed to a few years ago ❤️

no promises, BUT........... work in progress <3

A picture of a desk holding a makeshift computer setup. There's a handheld gaming device on the right (ROG Ally) held in place by a box from cans of mountain dew, a secondary monitor on the left, and a 2-in-1 laptop folded so that only the screen is accessible perched on a shelf behind them. There are plenty of cables spanning the desk, along with the (unopened, save for one) cans of mtn dew from the box. To the far right is a box fan on full blast

UPDATE: We moved from our ex's back to our family's house; things are better for us mentally, but physically we've got a LOT of stuff going on. Here are some pics of our current living situation, please consider helping us get out of here :'3 gofund.me/100408ac

A picture of an extremely messy house, showing a dining room area and part of the livingroom. There is trash piled up along with boxes of various foods.

An image of the kitchen sink area of the house. There are dishes covering the counters and the floor, with more trash and food-related stuff piled up everywhere.

Another picture of the livingroom. Once again, there are boxes stacked up with a significant amount of trash and food items piled around.

A picture from the bathroom, showing the wall and the ceiling. The plaster on the wall has been ripped off to show the bare wood underneath, and the ceiling has been torn up as well. There's a hole in the ceiling that goes into the floor of another room on the next story up, and one of the steel support beams is missing.

UPDATE: we hit our breaking point with our ex, and we're going back to live with family for the time being. We've been trying desperately to avoid this due to the health hazards of the house, but at this point I think it's ultimately a better place for us than living here is.

re: that last post finished our mood tracking stuff uwu (don't look too close at these charts they're depressing right now LOL)

A screenshot from Obsidian showing a large bar chart, with the bars made horizontally. On the left side is a number of moods ranging from tired to chill, with tired having the largest bar.

Another screenshot from Obsidian, this time featuring two charts. The first is labeled "Mood Min-Max" and shows horizontal bars with a minimum and maximum, with some spanning all the way from -2 to 0, others spanning from 0 to 1, and several more in between

The second is a line chart featuring dates at the bottom, with points plotted at the sum of the date's mood values

Another Obsidian screenshot. This one shows part of a journal entry. The date is 2025-05-12 and the time is 11:03AM. The entry shows several mood badges from before, along with some text for the journal entry.

A screenshot from Obsidian. The header says "test box (djs)", and below that is a box labeled Moods that contains the moods "sleepy" and "tired" with a mood sum of -0.5. Below the box is a line that says "holy shit it just works. i am so smart hallelujah"

A screenshot of the box from the last picture, but this time showing the Dataview code that created it.

New samples added to our cutesy/simplified style! These are some of the commissions we've done with that style ^^ Reminder: slots will reopen as we finish up commishes! Feel free to check out our commissions at one of these links: ko-fi.com/greysdawn/co... greys-art.carrd.co

A digital drawing of a sad-looking person smoking a cigarette. The drawing is mostly different shades of blue, with red mixed in for their eyes and an arrow in their back. The drawing is very simplified and stylized.

A drawing in the same style as before, this time showing someone that looks happy or mischievous. They have light skin and brown hair, and are wearing a green jacket with a white collared shirt beneath along with a green fox-like mask that covers the top half of their face.

Another drawing in the same style as before. This shows someone with light skin, white shoulder-length hair, and red eyes. They're smiling with their mouth open, showing fangs. They're wearing a muted collared shirt with a red tie, and they're holding up a bird-like mask with red goggles attached.

Hey folks, currently shooting for a #VGenCode to help me get started on emergency commissions! I mostly do portraits, but I also make Live2D and PNGTuber rigs! Here's some of my portrait work :3 If anyone can spare a code, it'd be greatly appreciated! Otherwise, consider liking and sharing pls 💜

A person with light skin and messy blonde hair. Their hair is made of messy bangs that frame their face, with a thick ponytail in the back, and scruffy bits on their cheeks. They have one normal-looking brown eye, and where the second eye would be is instead two eyes- one bright blue, one bright green, neither with pupils. They have brown antlers and elk-like ears, and have a wide grin with sharp teeth showing. They also have several scars across their face. They're wearing a blue bandana around their neck and a dark green Hawaiian shirt with orange flowers on it.

A monochromatic image of a person with gray skin, dark hair, and white wings. They have a scowl on their face, with a sharp fang showing. They have one dark eye and one eye that is glowing white with a trail of light going upwards from it. They have pointed ears as well, and they're wearing a black turtleneck.

A person with light skin, red hair, feathery red wings, and small white horns. They have one blue eye and one green eye, and they're wearing glasses. They're smiling, with sharp teeth showing. Their hair is in a thick, short ponytail that drapes over their shoulder. They're wearing a collared shirt with a lab coat over it, along with a necklace bearing an amulet made of a red jewel surrounded by intricate metal.

A person with dark skin and darker hair, covered in glowing green butterflies. They have a patch of vitiligo that goes diagonally across their face, and a circular scar in the middle of their forehead. They have a blank or serious expression on their face. They're sporting beard and mustache, and their hair is in a thick braid with bangs framing their face. Their eyes have a green iris, lighter green sclera, and no pupil. They also have green and black butterfly wings. They're wearing a green turtleneck with a puffy blue jacket over top of it.

We're still struggling with things, but we might come back to streaming soon- albeit most likely with shorter sessions than we were able to do before our hiatus 😅 Still not entirely sure right now, but I do want to get back to doing something more creative and public again ^^

Sol does too much stuff @selenated.com · 09/04/2025

Had a major realization yesterday that our "burnout" problems are actually explained by ME/CFS and that's why we've been struggling so much. I know that ME/CFS is a really heavy diagnosis, but it made me feel so seen and validated to learn about post-exertional malaise and others struggling with it

Sol does too much stuff @selenated.com · 02/04/2025

Hey folks, it's that time again! We've got some more updates for y'all from this quarter Not all of it is good, but we're doing our best to get through things TLDR - We released VTS Deck, a new tool for VTube Studio users 🎉 - Our website code is now public 🎉 - ... We have to move out of our home 👎

111

Sol does too much stuff @selenated.com · 30/03/2025

Depressing update coming soon (just fair warning) but until then here's something silly: We've been collecting and workshopping some ideas for proper YouTube videos lately, and we've accidentally come up with so many pikmin-related ones that we've had to move them to their own folder 😭 - Kam

A screenshot of the Obsidian interface, specifically the file list. There are 8 total files listed under the "YouTube -> Video ideas" folder, with half of them being listed under their own separate "pikmin stuff" folder. All of the file names are hidden with bright purple pen

Struggling between wanting to rebrand our "professional" socials back to our system name and trying to figure out what to call our non-work socials 😭 We've gone back and forth a lot with how we name our accounts at this point, and it's hard to really decide on what's best :/

Been messing around with art again to try to destress and play with our style :3c Here's a small dump of recent doodles we've done uwu (doing alt text for these made me realize I really need to diversify the way I part hair 😭)

A bust-up, digital drawing of a person with light skin, dark blue eyes, and brown hair, wearing a blue sweater. Their hair is about shoulder length and frames their face, somewhat obscuring their right eye. They have a gentle smile on their face.

A shoulders-up, digital drawing of a person with light skin, cyan eyes, and platinum blonde hair, wearing a green shirt. They're facing towards the viewer's left, but are looking back to the viewer's right. Their hair is shaved on their left side and about chin length on the other side; it is fluffy where long and covers the right half of their face. They're smiling

A digital drawing using a variety of blue-green shades to depict an ocean landscape. The horizon in towards the middle of the drawing, with an off-center sun casting light on the waves below it and the clouds above it.

Another shoulders-up, digital drawing, this time of a cat person with light skin, green eyes, brown hair, and fluffy black cat ears, wearing a purple sweater. Their hair is chin-length, covering their right eye. They have a somewhat tentative grin on their face.

VTS Deck 1.0 release! 🎉 We finally got the majority of the work done on our VTube Studio tool, and now we can release it to others! This app lets you create clickable buttons for your VTube Studio hotkeys, so you can use them without having to create keyboard shortcuts for them. Links below!

A screenshot laying out the dark and light modes of VTS Deck. There is a grid of buttons with names like "default", "zoom small/med/big", and several buttons set up for expressions like being sad or mad. Beneath the grid is a box showing the setup for a button, including giving the button a name and color, setting it to act as a toggle, and then adding the hotkeys to execute.
