[Pensive, existential] @aires I just flew into Burbank an hour or so ago, and I have to say that nothing hits this vibe for me harder than the LA area.

Stolen. (Lar Desouza; full attribution in alt text)

A comic panel / political cartoon by Lar Desouza (@lartist.bsky.social / Instagram Uncalar, patreon.com/lardesouza).

On the left, a comic representation of US Senator Tommy Tuberville saying "Would you be comfortable with a mentally ill furry being your pilot?". On the right, Baloo and Don Karnage, an anthropomorphic bear and red wolf from Disney's TaleSpin, pilots who are the series's protagonist and anatagonist, respectively, stand facing each other. Don Karnage is saying "He is to be talking about us, yes no?"

The caption at the bottom reads "Sen. Tommy Tuberville Says "Deranged" Furry Culture Is Flight Safety Risk" and "Forbes.com Sept/24/2026"

A little bit of a self-promo—would love a signal boost if people were willing. "Ephemeris," the third book in "The Draconyma Cycle," is releasing on the 14th of August in paperback and eBook formats. I'm really excited to get this book out there for people to read. It's been a long time coming.

The cover of "Ephemeris," a novel by Sasha Fox. A cityscape surrounded by snowy mountains, with a backdrop of purple stars. The silhouette of a dragon sits behind the title, illuminated by starlight.

Changed my avatar to some art I made ^_^

Colored art of a shark in front of an Ensoniq SQ-80 keyboard with a slightly grumpy look on her face and purple-tinted glasses. She's wearing headphones, a blue hoodie, and a "GILL" shirt. She has black hair, pierced ears and eyebrow, and is wearing headphones with purple padding. The style is mixed between anthro art and some punky shit. In the top corner, there is a set of glowing musical notes on a staff, with a key signature of B-flat, and an attribution line to the single key she's holding.

I did a little digital painting of one of my Shadowrun characters. Meet Nyela. Barely an adult, she slept late, awakening in 2081 Seattle. She emerged baffled and confused—where are the forests? Why are magic levels so high? What are these giant human hives? […] [Original post on shark.community]

Digital painting of one of my shadowrun characters; a pair of amber dragon eyes shine from a dragon-shaped shadow in a dark, rainy skyline near the Redmond Barrens in Seattle, 2081. The faint glint of light on scales indicates the dragon in the darkness. The city skyline looms behind, lost in the mist.

I may hate the schedule, but I love the flying.

Finished my latest #art #furryart This one is kinda personal. Transphobes, Racists, Homophobes, Antisemites, Bigots of any stripe, I will protect my people to the limits of my strength. This far, no farther.

Colored art of my fursona, an anthropomorphic shark, standing in a defensive posture, one paw up to warn off bigots, a worn knife behind her back to enforce their cooperation should they prove aggressive.

Speaking of my free books, I'm working on the prototype cover for the second printing of the first book. Thoughts? ^_^

Cover of a science fiction novel entitled "THETA" by Sasha Fox.
On the front cover, a white anthropomorphic fox with purple hair cries out in anguish in front of a starfield shaped like the face of an anthropomorphic black coyote with yellow eyes. To the right, a space battle is taking place in the orbit of a planet.

The starfield continues across the spine and on the back cover, where copy reads:
"To live—Theta is stuck between death and life. Unable to let go of what he was, unable to face what he is, he must choose between destiny and oblivion . . . but his time is running out.
To dream—For Jale Bercammon, life is comfortable, stable, and slipping on by. Every day is routine, and she's good at routine. And then she meets Theta. Reeled in by forces from Theta's homeworld, she's on a path that will take all of her resolve and ingenuity to survive.
And to love—The powerful and wealthy Knoskali holds all at bay, and the universe is his playground. And yet the one thing he desires is the one thing he may never keep."
