I finally unstalled on Optimus and knocked it out in 81 days. What a fun build. 990 pieces or so? I haven't been to the bench since 2/27 and I need to get started on some figures and a dio.

Completed my entry into VMX2025, hosted by Modellers Without Borders. Here are a few shots that didn't make it in to the judging. Huge shout out to my brother for shooting these great photos.

My spinmaster detail up has earned me AMT Batwing. Still stalled on the Optimus and my growing backlog of GunPla. This has stretched me in a new direction, as it's my first real plane kit.

@jamesgunn.bsky.social thank you. Saw the movie last night. My twin brother and I love movies. We connect over them. In 2002 I got to see my childhood superhero done justice. However my brother has not been able to experience the same thing as an adult. .

This 30 minute fantasy figure is pretty fun. Love the pose ability. The base figure is itself a great reference for figure posing

Starting something new. I've been on a Sci Fi kick this year.

Let's start with a question: how much of your model build is process (nuts and bolts stuff) and how much is creative expression? For me it is like 92% process based.
