Hi! I'm Lark, a comic artist who just spent one full entire work day struggling to draw a SINGLE pose in a single panel. I'm here to tell you that if you're an aspiring comic artist and the reason you are "aspiring" and not yet comicking is because you don't feel skilled enough: it doesn't matter.

Full coord from the last weekend! These Dandy Puppeteer shoes have become my go to, I love the toe room <3 #jfashion #altfashion #lolitafashion #kawaii #ロリータファッション

A fair skin lolita in a brightly lit shopping mall with white walls/tiles. He is standing center frame with one hand on the brim of a straw hat with white lace, and the other hand holding his skirt out. He is wearing a brown jumperskirt with woodland animals making jam and pies on it, and a green satin ribbon around the waist. He has long dark brown hair, red frame glasses, and a face mask with a white lace overlay. He is wearing an ivory capelet that stops below the shoulders. He has tall ivory socks with brown roses printed on them, and white wood block platform shoes.

A year ago, Detroit Metro journalist, Steve Neavling, wrote about the decades-long search for September Jones. Her relatives saw the story, and now the long-lost soul singer from Detroit has been found and is collecting royalties. She had no idea how popular her music still was in the U.K.

Everyone, but especially Millenials & Zoomers, PLEASE be careful shoveling snow over the next few days. Even in the best of times, shoveling puts you at increased risk of heart attack, but with Covid/RSV/Cold/Flu beating us up, consider that risk even higher. Warm up, hydrate, & take breaks!

its a bit of a relief to see other artists feel the same about how US artist alley has become more ""hustle culture"" with a focus on making marketable goods with ok enough art, and less ""check out this mental illness"" with 200 doujinshi pages of the best sucking and fucking you can ever imagine

I'm happy with how dark Jacinthe's skin tone is. Like yes we've had dark skin characters in Pokémon games. But she's definitely one of the darkest. And that's amazing. Cause colorism is a huge issue. And at a time like this, it's that much more important to have representation.

Go in: Settings > Languages> Content Languages and make it *unset* !

here’s how the rest of the #Eeveelutions react to bathtime… 🛁🫧✨

How Eevee and its evolutions (except Sylveon, as she was drawn in the post this one is quoting) react to being bathed. Pokemon, drawing description, and image text in brackets:

Vaporeon: wagging its tail happily in a shower cubicle (Needs no second bidding. Removing them from the shower is harder)

Jolteon: looking sidelong at the viewer with narrowed eyes (You know better than to shower an Electric type.)

Flareon: rolling contentedly in a sand pit (Fluffy fire type gets a sand bath instead!)

Eevee: being held in one hand, rinsed with the other, with big sad eyes and question marks (Too liddol to comprehend or rebel. Feeling a bit betrayed tbh)

Espeon: Peering out of a crack in a cupboard (Uses Psychic powers to choose best hiding spots until you give up)

Umbreon: Hissing wild eyed, clinging to shower curtains, with gloved hands attempting to reach (Acrobatics, unholy screeching, etc. Protective gear recommended)

Leafeon: sitting under the shower happily, eyes closed and tongue outstretched to catch the water (Calmest Eeveelution in the bath. Plant likes being watered!)

Glaceon: Standing somewhat tensely under the shower in silence (Tolerates it, but might be plotting revenge)
