New update rolled out - we've completely reworked how you log in and sign up on Openvibe. Until now, there was no way to register new accounts through the app, you could only log into existing ones.

RSS is out, at least the first version of it. So, what should we add next? Again, my mind comes back to this question: what would you like to see in @openvibe.social ? Are you a reader looking for content, or a creator looking for ways to expand the content you’re building?

🧡 RSS is here! 🧡 You can now follow blogs, newsletters and news feeds in the same timeline as Mastodon, Bluesky, and more. One feed, all your stuff 🐙 It’s a big milestone for us - and while it’s early, it already feels great! 👉 Tons of important fixes in this update too, details below 👇

macOS Sequoia is so buggy. Spotlight can't find programs, indexing takes over two hours and still not done, apps can't assign open port addresses, and Bluetooth randomly unpairs devices. I wish there was a downgrade button. But sure, let's talk about the ecosystem and how #Apple is great.

A couple of weeks ago, #Spotify launched the Daylist (not DailyMix) feature in my region, and it really shows how superior their platform is. The rotating genre playlists that change every few hours and match the mood throughout the day are amazing. (Still waiting for HiFi, though.)

I must say I'm disappointed with Monday's Apple event. Dual OLED from iPads in the phone and 120Hz could have been something. Instead, we get a camera button that disrupts balance, a Google Lens copy, and AI without benchmarks. At least, props for the hearing aid feature and carbon neutrality goal.

I just tried #Duolingo's math course. Having this while I was daily driving the bus to high school or in early university, I would definitely not have any existential problems about integrals and advanced statistics right now. I'm going to push it with my other courses!

One can argue about Apple’s ecosystem and build quality, but the new Google Pixel 9 with its advanced Gemini models and integrated Nano is a clear step up. Apple should do more than just reframe old hardware in titanium. www.theverge.com/24218825/google-pi…

I've seen good and bad code, but never someone serialize a list by converting each element to a string, concatenating them, and wondering why the final string isn't valid JSON. Serializing a list should be a 30-second Google search. Sometimes, I wonder why some developers make things so difficult.
