So PSN went down and people couldn't log in to play their games or do anything really. If only there was some way around this, some sort of storage device that could store games. Then you could play it when you wanted, regardless of if a server goes down or not. What a world that would be. 😐

There have been a few moments in the Final Fantasy VII Remake project, where it's felt like something has happened out of place, far earlier than it does in the OG. And most of them are things I'd expect to see in Part 3... Are they hitting things early for a reason..?

Day 9 : Favourite Final Fantasy Battle System! Anything ATB, just crank it up to full speed and put it on Active. I do love standard turn based and CTB (FFX) as well though. Completely forgot I was doing this so going to pick it back up👀 (Life is busy, I forget things 😂)

So I've been smashing through Dragon Quest VII Reimagined recently, as well as the Erdrick Trilogy HD-2D Remakes over the last year or so. Which has me wondering, what's next from Dragon Quest? Another Remake, VIII maybe or the Zenithian Trilogy? Or Dragon Quest XII?

231

Sector 6 @sector6.bsky.social · 13/02/2026

I mean yeah, people have dogpiled Highguard a bit and that must suck. But at the same time if the game is good enough and adds to the (overcrowded) space then it realistically should shine through in the end. I don't think mean social media comments killed this game, they just didn't help.

Sector 6 @sector6.bsky.social · 12/02/2026

ZERO Square Enix presence at the State of Play is a bit unexpected. I was 50/50 on Final Fantasy VII Remake Pt 3 but shocked that they had nothing to show at all. Weird.

I never played either the PS1 version or the PSP Remake of Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined, and I'm loving the way it goes about things. In general I've been loving getting introduced to the Dragon Quest franchise over the last year-ish. I'm definitely ready to dive deeper!
