And if noticing that Kip's cousin, What's-His-Name, that had stayed way too long at the teen booze party wasn't bad enough, JENNA'S MOM and her golden child baby are here too. Two different opportunities to get into conversations he'd rather die than have right now. "Why is there only one grocery store in this town!" he grits his teeth and steels himself for a shitty shift.

With a flirtatious wink one of her older adult coworkers slides Jenna a drink. Which should be a huge red flag if you are a bartender, you do not do that. "I made it just ow you like it. Mostly vodka." Jenna laughs nervously because, what the hell, she's in the middle of a shift at her parents' restaurant. "uh-- heh-- thanks." As she takes it the bartender steps back to the bottles with an "I'll get those drink orders started." Jenna looks into the glass, seeing for just a moment what alcohol for her is to creepy guys: a way to manipulate her. She frowns in disgust and pours it down the sink next to her.
