Then don't buy it 🤷‍♂️ Games you're not interested in do not take away other options. And Aspyr not releasing Shadow of Mordor on Switch 2 won't make the next Zelda or whatever release faster. I'm glad third-party publishers are supporting the Switch 2, and more games, even 15 yo old ones, is good?

I don't know what actually happens behind the scenes in Claude web UI, but it is pretty trivial now for LLMs to defer to a deterministic tool for these kinds of "gotcha" questions. Which would be the right thing to do here.

Same here. I won't pretend it's a particularly pretty game. Battle maps are particularly, well, more fitting of the 3DS than the Switch. But it never struck me as hideous, either, unlike so many people seem to feel.

And that's a real shame. Based on what we've seen in the trailer, I don't see any reason why Ravenous shouldn't be a cross-gen title. The 120fps mode clearly shows that it isn't a very resource-intensive game.

I miss Old Internet a lot, but admittedly a major part of that is that the early internet had a very weird opt-in procedure that you can't recreate, the result of which is that the default user was a curious dorkwad. Plus, there was no money to be made, so no branding/positioning all the time.

I love when fantasy series have a dude called something like Stephen the All-Seeing, Keeper of the Demon Sword, hero of the Volcano Age. But in some tiny village, he's known as Bees Steve, that weird guy who loves beekeeping. The more uppercase titles the legend has, the funnier the contrast is.
