🧵2/5 The Gap: SMLM localizes single emitters down to a few nm, but localization precision/uncertainty ≠ structural resolution. Noise from labeling, acquisition & stochastic sampling blurs the point cloud, limiting how accurately we can quantify structures like filaments or nanoclusters.
