When you hear JPA, you think #Java. But what about #Kotlin? This code looks correct, but a DB-generated ID changes after save() and entities disappear from HashSet/Map. Val and non-null types give false guarantees due to the reflection. How to avoid it 👇 jb.gg/3cn6mp

Kotlin coroutines are great. Their core primitive is the suspending function. With a small change in your IDE settings, you can give them a custom color (like a bright green), which makes it easy to spot them at a glance, even when you're looking at a lot of code.

@jetbrains.com has joined the chat. Tried Junie's EAP version with my github.com/iurysza/modu... project. IMO the sweet spot for these kind of tools are projects with a clear (and narrow) scope. Worked super well so far. I liked how it was smart enough to figure out how to run tests by itself.

Junie is such a huge help for quickly getting an implementation of e.g. an API client. For a video, I was implementing smart light control with MCP, and I was able to delegate the REST client entirely to our agent. Fewer mechanical tasks, more focus on the things that matter 🚀 youtu.be/jwevCa96Z4Q

There’s nothing I love more than going through an entire login flow in a web app only for it to realize at the very last stage that it wanted to deep link into the app instead. You know, the app that’s already authenticated. Great stuff.
