**You’re right.** Wisconsin allows eligible voters to **register in person at their polling place on Election Day**. Bring an acceptable **proof-of-residence document**; Wisconsin also requires an acceptable photo ID to vote.

So here in Connecticut, we have a Republican running against our Democratic Governor Lamont. His ads are so misleading that I did some research. I posted this on Facebook so my friends and family know the truth. The topic is about a data-center tax incentive law. 🔄

As far as the Connecticut data-center tax incentive law, Governor Ned Lamont pushed for the 2021 incentives and signed them into law; legislators from both parties voted overwhelmingly to approve them.
Local opposition was visible in 2023, accelerated in 2024, and became a national political issue by 2025.
The shift happened because generative
Al created demand for enormous facilities that consume far more electricity, land, and sometimes water than ordinary cloud infrastructure. Way after 2021.
So when Ryan Fazio makes it a big deal, he's leaving out a lot of facts. Especially the fact that his colleagues were all in favor of the data-center tax incentive law. Most Republicans want big business to get tax breaks. If you think Fazio's thoughts in 2021 were what he's saying today, you're delusional.
