I stand by Danny Trejo, and I believe his son. I just met Trejo a few months ago, and he's very open and generous by nature. He probably took the role because he thought he was helping a young filmmaker out, and not that fascist prick Ben Shapiro.

I just met Danny Trejo for the first time a few months ago, and he's a really warm, accessible guy. I'm guessing he took the role because he seems generous by nature, and that Ben Shapiro's meat puppet filmmakers were probably very selective in how they pitched it to Trejo's agent.
