Birdsong Apps (www.birdsongapps.com) now ships three apps, all serving roughly the same content in different formats. And that’s been the goal all along.

Einzelne Medien hat er zwischenzeitlich schon

Perfekt!

Totally forgot to tell you about the best feature of AtmoPay: subscriptions work across app boundaries. Here a screenshot from @skeetsapp.com that unlocks the same creator content for the subscriber.

The current idea is to charge a platform fee of 5% and to take 1-2 points of that to build an app / developer pool. 30% of that pool will go to the app / platform that created the subscription, the other 70% will be split amongst the apps/platforms that display the content.

1.0% of each payment is pooled for the apps that sold and served it, carved out of the 4.0% platform
fee rather than added to it. Origination is who sold it — attested when the app's own PDS signed for
it, claimed when the app could only assert its identity (a browser app has no secret to sign with).
Delivery is always attested: it is metered from the client_id the supporter's own PDS reports at the
doorman.

These payment products or „offers“ are available through public records. Within those records the creators can set (and change at any time) their authorized issuers (PSPs): pdsls.dev/at://did:plc:rc6c56zlungm…

AtmoPay lets you create payment products (subscriptions/one-time-payments/etc.) and assign them to Spaces - AtmoPay will act as a doorman to guard those spaces.

It’s currently in R&D mode, integrating with #ATProto Spaces. You can test it with a spaces-ready account by navigating to this user account: app.flashes.blue/profile/ben-creato…
