I wasn’t sure this would go, but managed to take all conference booth gear and 3 days of clothing with me for a trip to Ontario. Practical: the extendable handle was carrying the entire weight, not the main handle. Also, don’t put it on the side of your derailleur. 🤣 #yyc #yycbike.

Seems off. My $4k Tiguan cost 15k in insurance tires and repairs and 5k in fuel (all rounded up) over 4y/35000k. That’s $100k for 80 years of ownership. I’m usually with you and I don’t drive much but to multiply this by 7 or 10 for different lifestyles seems wild.

Considering whether my next bike should be a cargo bike. So far, for our needs, the answer seems no? 🤔😁 Anyone using one of those extended bikes to take two adults around town?

First post. Finally reached my objective of skiing the Skoki Lodge round trip in a day. Thin snow pack but great fun. 30km, 1100m vertical, 7h.
