Twenty-five years ago this week, this is how I began column about Common Councilor Van Robinson’s great dream in The Syracuse Post-Standard. Plenty of people - so many people - laughed and said Van was dreaming. Removing I-81 from Syracuse would never happen. Next year, it will.
