I saw HOPE. I really loved the first half, but the second half, while still thrilling got repetitive and then it just ends in the most unsatisfying way possible. That being said, it's also the most manga live action thing I've seen in awhile, reminded me of InuYashiki or Gantz.

With The Phoenix Saga being so played out in the X-Men movies, I could see them doing a version of Inferno. Especially with Ghost Rider coming up, and them establishing Mephisto and other supernatural Characters in the MCU. Also we already got Mister Sinister showing up. 👿

Maybe I’m just misremembering but I don’t remember it being used much as part of Angels characterization, that he had such a sense of justice he took it upon himself to become a hero before joining the X-men. Anyway, someone should play with that if they already haven’t.

I have a Fathers Day secret: I don't enjoy when my 5 year old picks Calvin and Hobbes to read at night. It's not that I find it bad, it's great! But it feels 100% like a comic she's ment to find when she can read, after she's weathered a couple years of school, and had to deal with more grown-ups.

Whenever I see stuff from the Mandalorian movie I'm shocked that no one said, maybe this should be filmed or lit different from the tv show? Also we've had a couple trailers and nothing presented to sell an audience on why this should be a movie. The trailers even feel extremely episodic. 🤷‍♂️
