DEV NOTES
New UI art and layout! For returning players, it shouldn’t be a huge change, but the menu system is cleaner and prettier. Custom art provided by db_atlas from Black Altar Tattoo Studio.

Xbox controller compatibility added. DualSense controller also works, touchpad prompts just don’t accurately reflect PlayStation touchpad symbols.

With controller capability, Bean Sidhe is now playable on Steam Deck! We’ll be pursuing verification as soon as possible. For now please use the Gamepad With Joystick Template in your controller settings.

The best part about game design is revisiting old code to add features, forgetting that you already solved a problem, then solving it again in the exact same way and being just as proud of yourself as you were the first time. Controller/steam deck compatibility for Bean Sidhe coming soon I guess!

What a difference a talented concept artist and lighting designer makes, huh?

A scene from a videogame, dark orange trees with a path leading off into a mystical forest. The lighting is dim and the contrast is difficult to make out.

The same scene as before but with vibrant greenish blue lights guiding the player along the pathway and into the forest. The colors show much more vividly.
