didn't wanna do this but this was mainly inspired by my anger at how some dipshit on r/Wonderswan is spamming Clood slop translations of nearly every WS game known to man (without testing them), including Romancing Saga Using the script of a person who recently passed away yeah fuck you buddy

Credits

The English script is based on the SNES English translation of Romancing SaGa by DDSTranslation (v1.2, 2016): Japanese to English translation by Eien Ni Hen, programming by DDSTranslation, special thanks to Alex W. Jackson. That patch is in turn based on the 1998 Trans-Dimension translation by Shujin-Rik, Hakai and Musashi, with F.H. (Frank Hughes), Tamahome, Hoky and MakoKnight. Their lines were matched to the WonderSwan script and adapted where the remake changed or added text; the scenes that exist only on WonderSwan were translated from the Japanese. All credit for the original English goes to them.

Credits to no-one since the translator's moral heirs have decided that her work must remain untouched and unused forever. So, you'll soon have a new AI-only version—that way, at least they will only complain about the supposedly terrible translation.

Friendly Reminder: 3DS, Vita and Switch all use a type of flash memory that needs an electrical charge every decade or so to keep the game data from corrupting. TLDR: Boot up all your games and make a save on them to help preserve them into the future!
