Love a bit of public art. Especially when it can make you smile.

I love GDPR. Better regulation with material consequences drives better company behaviour. Even from Ryanair. NZ needs an uplift.

Happy New Year folks. Every year there’s a generous soul who puts on a fantastic fireworks display at Lake Tarawera that rivals Auckland’s. It’s a lovely way to ring in the New Year

Took the dog for 10km through Waiuku Forest this morning. Lovely track, but quite frankly that’s both of us sorted for the day.

Having just got home after a week in hospital I am going to be extensively patting one very special dog who I’ve missed more than the moon.

It’s the whole market eh. Tesla especially was in a weird over-enthusiastic bubble that made no sense though. Looks like more of a correction than a crash at this point but let’s see where the show goes!

Stretching summer holidays out with a week in #HawkesBay and started the extra break out with a lovely wander long Waimarama beach in the mist and rain
Waimarama beach, empty in the rain, clouds clinging to the hills in the distance and messy surf washing in and out.

Hadn't appreciated quite how close we are to having a complete cycling ring route around the central Tāmaki Makaurau isthmus. Just a few tactical deliveries would make an excellent ride. Then look at some North - South / East - West routes and we'd be flying.

Just wandered around the Olafur Eliason exhibition at Toi o Tāmakai. Honestly the most joy-bringing playful exhibition you’ll attend. Go see it if you’re in Auckland
An Olafur Eliason artwork. A revolving sphere of LEDs that are like dancing fireflies.
