Got some fun goodies in the mail today! I promise I can be trusted with these Chills....

SeaAverage @seaaverage.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

No comms sheet because I've only ever done it for myself and friends, but if I had to put a number on things I'd say probably 50-100 depending on the thing.

We're so back (people still post when they submit things right?)

Internet is out at home so I'm working from the LGS today. Bought a "thanks for letting me mooch Internet" pack and maybe I should work from the LGS more

This is almost certainly going to be my favorite card in the set, holy moly. #mtg

Cool little milestone, one of my longform videos has hit 1000 views! #mtg

Newest alter! Not a super original idea, but was fun to work on and I'm happy with how it came out. #mtg #mtgalter

Getting a lot better at alters. Shoutouts to @hummingbirdalters.bsky.social for having great tips on YouTube to help improve! #mtg #mtgalters

Fellow Moseo enjoyers, go to your local comic store and get @abzjharding.bsky.social's Parliament of Rooks!

Wrapping up my time at @cubecon.org today and heading home early this afternoon. It's been so fun and I'm very appreciative that they invited me out. Definitely looking forward to attending again in the future. Anyway, here is my haul! Grabbed some duals, signed proofs, and an alter.

Played the "Death by 10 Cuts" cube this morning. It was super fun! Really enjoyed the way this one plays out. #mtg

My deck for the 6 drop cube! Went 0-3 but had a lot of fun playing big dumb magic cards. #mtg

We tried out lino cutting for family art night last night, and here is my stamp and the results!

Listen I know he's been a problem in some formats, but he's also just a little guy

The final card to get my cube ready for @cubecon.org has arrived!

SeaAverage @seaaverage.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

I don't know that anyone that I'm connected with can help with this, but if anyone happens to know where I can find this card in Italian, I would like to acquire one! So far I have only been able to find the normal frame but would really like to find the extended art.

Really enjoying how Google translated @carmparens.bsky.social when trying to read the JP BNR update

000

SeaAverage @seaaverage.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

Thank goodness they hit the car. Didn't expect huge changes in Standard like this, but these seem very interesting for the format.

Gotta tell you, this is not how I wanted to spend my Saturday...

This one absolutely buried me in one of my games, highly recommend playing it if you open it.

SeaAverage @seaaverage.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

Didn't do well at Prerelease last night, but this set seems like a super fun limited environment. I look forward to drafting it in the future!

010

SeaAverage @seaaverage.bsky.social · 07/08/2026

Didn't quite get there, but got pretty close! I'll at least finish it before the end of pre-release weekend and that counts for something lol

010

SeaAverage @seaaverage.bsky.social · 07/08/2026

I started playing around with Homer, the Hermit in cEDH last night at locals and while the brew wasn't very good yet, wow these three cards together sure can empty your deck off of a single land drop pretty dang easily.

SeaAverage @seaaverage.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

I've got a bunch of reading to do before tomorrow night...

060

SeaAverage @seaaverage.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

Trying to finish this before pre-release. Gonna have to step it up and actually spend some free time reading instead of all of it playing Balatro.

I'll be going to @cubecon.org next month! Super excited for a weekend of drafting a bunch of cool cubes, particularly The Combo Cube and How Bazaar, How Bazaar. Check out the featured cubes here: cubecon.org/cubes/2026

Like COME ON just look at this

010

SeaAverage @seaaverage.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

Ok....maybe one last goofy @adef.bsky.social face for the road....

060

SeaAverage @seaaverage.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

Last but not least is Ashley and @greeblesss.bsky.social somehow still awake for the finale after everything that they do during the event.

2101

SeaAverage @seaaverage.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

Sticking with the interview team, we don't always remember to get the reactions to the goofy skits they do from the people not involved in the skit, so here is @kungfufruitcup.bsky.social and @jaidlyn.wakeupbuttons.com losing it while adef and melo try to play silly tabletop sports.

150

SeaAverage @seaaverage.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

I know that last time I posted a picture of @adef.bsky.social it was some super goofy face, but I can take GOOD pictures of him too! Your run was killer and it is always a pleasure to chat with you about pretty much whatever during the events. Now I just have to find time for your latest video...

SeaAverage @seaaverage.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

Next is this photo of @geneljumalon.bsky.social signing a Flow State as part of Artist Alley. If you know me, you know I love Magic so having Genel there was an awesome treat for me in particular. I'm sad we never managed to get any games in, but I'm sure we'll fix that in the future.

140

SeaAverage @seaaverage.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

First up we have this photo of @fish866.bsky.social that I took while trapped on the stage in front of the host during the finale. I literally could not do these events without Fish there helping me manage it all.

180

SeaAverage @seaaverage.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

Turns out we have a Magic artist in artist alley at #SGDQ2026, so now I have this. Shoutouts to @geneljumalon.bsky.social for having a binder full of cards for anyone that didn't bring any of the proper ones to the event.

091

SeaAverage @seaaverage.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

Just went 2-1 with this weirdo pile. Turns out green creatures + white removal isn't half bad.

000

SeaAverage @seaaverage.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

For me it is Dreamtide Whale. I don't really know how to describe why I like this art so much, but it really is beautiful.

020

SeaAverage @seaaverage.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

I somehow forgot to post about this. I recently purchased my very first Artist Proof from @abzjharding.bsky.social of my new favorite magic character, Moseo! The portrait style rules and I can't wait to use him for commander games tonight. I am also working on a video about him, so stay tuned.

This was my first time painting a card and even though it's not perfect I'm really proud of how it turned out and the fact that I was willing to try it at all
