Highlights included Dartford Warbler (took a lot of finding), Spotted Flycatcher, and a Black Redstart juvenile. A very yellow juvenile Willow Warbler was a reminder that summer is on its way out despite the recent heatwave. 060

It was abandoned for 5 years & since then it has been mowed annually. No seeds/plants have ever been introduced to it. It is very species-rich. Ecological restoration is often best when we do less!!! 411820
