Enjoying Nintendo's latest "Sword Anime Game" as some will lovingly call it. But I can't help but feel worried that development on these games might have ballooned. Fortunes Weave is a MASSIVE game, sure--But, I just hope we don't have to wait 5 years for the next game.

Whenever you have negative thoughts about yourself, reframe it by asking: "If my 4-year old self was right there, would I say this to their face?" If the answer is no, it's probably not a thought you should be having about yourself. You're still that kid, you gotta love yourself.

Been saying this for years, but for as much as I LOVED the Wii U, it was almost all "Sequel to a 3DS game in HD" OR "Sequel to Wii game in HD with second screen" Very few games took full advantage of the Wii U's unique capabilities, and it was more DS-Like experiences brought to the TV.

I know a 3D Mario would be nice and all, but I'm kinda glad to see Nintendo confident enough to use their smaller franchises to build up their momentum early this generation. Everyone is gonna buy a Switch 2 for Mario, so, give early adopters other franchises to try in the meantime!

I'd never DARE call any Direct that announced a new Metroid bad, because a new Metroid is enough to carry twelve Directs imo BUT, I do think Nintendo should've skirted their "Winter Focus" rule this time and given us at least one more thing for later in 2027, most of this was updates or ports.

"Why doesn't Link look like the art from the original game?" Well, you see! The art by Yusuke Nakano wasn't actually concept art! In fact, Yusuke wasn't even a character designer for Ocarina of Time! He was just the illustrator for the title! This is important to understand.

Wouldn't it be crazy, if tomorrows Direct ended on an "Ocarina of Time" trailer, and just as all of us are getting livid about seeing MORE of this game a day after its full reveal, before the flood of comments can come in, the Smash Bros logo fades in. I don't think it could happen, but man...

My theory regarding the random Nintendo Switch 2 updates: Soo, we all know the Switch 2 has officially been priced higher as of September 1st, and I almost think this is retaliatory to the new price. At $450, you can buy a console and a game, but at $500, you're unlikely to afford both.

I have no interest in GTA--But why are so many people freaking out about the nude beach leak? Like, it's GTA. The game where you get to roleplay as a terrorist or a mass-shooter, a little nudity is nothing compared to that.

Sonic Team realized they made the coolest villain ever with Metal and became terrified nothing they'd do would ever match, so they replaced him with Shadow and delegated him to his less awesome, Neo form or background prop.

The greatest sin a video game can commit, is, the "Walk around while this character is talking to you, but you can't skip it because it isn't technically a cutscene, and you're forced to follow a specific path and walk at 0.1 inches per hour, and if you slow down the character stops talking" scenes.

The PS1 doubled as a CD player for your TV, CDs made it successful The PS2 was a success for being the cheapest DVD player on market. The PS3 was a relatively cheap Blu-Ray player at the time. The PS4 marketed against Xbox's always online DRM by assuring gamers they could just "Share their games"

Funniest Manga experience I had was when I was reading and collecting the Promised Neverland, and right in the middle of Chapter 47, when they're talking about the Human World for the first time, my physical copy had a print error, and part of Chapter 47 or 48 was replaced with a chapter of Haikyu!!

Thinking back on it, Sonic's "Dark Ages" really were only caused by these two games. 2005-2006 wasn't exactly GREAT for the franchise.

The dumbest thing Nintendo could do with Star Fox 2026 is NOT make multiplayer DLC. That NEEDS expanded on! The only issue with making it paid is that, that would lock some players out of it. Perhaps they should make a whole game around the multiplayer?

It's like the new Crazy Taxi game--It looks TECHNICALLY better than what came before, but it feels like too many art styles clashing with itself. It's got realistic cars driving on the road alongside cartoon effects. It just kinda, clashes? It LOOKS good, but FEELS off, imo

Considering we're about to have an option for an $800 Xbox, and we currently HAVE a $900 Playstation on the market, as well as a $1400 PC-Console. The Switch 2's $499 price feels like a steal at this point! (And that's NOT a good thing!)

The Simpsons would've ironically, remained more relevant had it not tried to make the show exist in a floating timeline, and instead of chasing real world fads and events, existed entirely in a fictional 80s/90s Springfield bubble. It feels wrong to see Bart with a smartphone.

It kinda hurts that when AI was first a thing how vocally I was against it in an effort to protect the rights of artists, and yeah, I still care about that, but seeing how it is actively destroying the planet, I've almost forgotten about the artist part and just wanna see AI dead.

Honestly, cheaper than I thought it'd be. But I said it once, anything over $750 and it's just too expensive for what it is. At $1400, I'm better off building my own PC and waiting for good deals on RAM.
