The stunning opinion on the Barbara case is Kavanaugh's arguing that the 14th amendment, which has the exact same language as the statute he says confers birthright citizenship, does NOT -- i.e that Congress could validly deny citizenship to persons born in the US. 4 Justices for that view is crazy.
