Just insane. But, this underscores the motivation for and theme of @jessiesinger.bsky.social’s “There Are No Accidents” where her friend had been killed in Manhattan by a drunk driver entering a “protected” bike path. NYC eventually installed bollards preventing car access.

On the bike path from the playground, my almost 5 yr old granddaughter enjoyed a 5 minute conversation with a 20-something female cyclist. What a sweet conversation about cycling, joining her JR mtn biking team, bike safety, & just lovely positive exchanges. Pedal bike next spring! #cycling #kids
