I should hope the house holds fine. I'm not in a flood pocket. The power going out for an extended period would worry me. If the power ever goes out long term, I'm out. We'll be dead in the summer.

As much as a potential hurricane storm hitting NV sounds interesting, the fact that last week the wind blew a little bit and the power kept flicking off gives me no confidence. Why is it when I want clouds and rain that the city's infrastructure collapses? It literally gets smacked by rain.

I'm giving myself applause after doing 3 pages of thumbnails and starting line work over the weekend. The hardest part has been breached. I'll be able to just casually toss illustrated panels as updates rather than just wishful text posts. 👏👏👏

I was going to make a Halloween animation, but I'll start drawing Shadow's Mark instead. Still got a big workload I'm working through. I love Halloween so much, I might try to make one related thing at least. I am always celebrating privately. Buying the goofy chips and eating squashes.

You don't understand, I've been starved of rain out here and I'm so excited to see a grey, wet day. But this also means I'm wearing the wrong clothing and have no umbrella. It doesn't rain evenly and it's 10 degrees cooler than where I started.

Lol, I forget which shot was in what season and then it's like, ah! Can't do that one yet. It's been a long time. I wasn't coloring for a good chunk of them, so I'm not sure if people get all too excited about backgrounds. I really need video software, but I'm lazy and don't buy subscriptions.

Occasionally, I wonder why I haven't uploaded some of my work for HelluvaBoss or Mystery Skulls in the last few months/years. Then I remember it's because the projects haven't been released yet. I have also been super lazy posting Ghost Fuckers cleanup. I have no video editing program.

I'm still working on anatomy, so I find body horror hard to pull off well. I made something decent yesterday, between appealing to me and fucked up, but I still may need to push it more to see how much is too far. I should also just break the whole model for a background character, I have ideas.

I refuse to drop the actual plot going on in #shadowsmark until I have pages. I'll probably start rough drafts in the next month or 2, but I can't imagine dropping pages this year. Drawing Razor mad has always been fun and therapeutic. Same is true when he's being a menace just to amuse himself.

Labor day weekend and no freelance really helped me knock out a few things. I didn't feel bad spending half the day editing/ writing, then making quickly drawn weird horses. It's also great when the bird stays perched in my hair.

In dreams, we can't really read anything, but I found I also can't process gore either. It looked very AI. There was a woman with no brain from the front, but had a normal profile. She complained about a leak. The dog before her had a severed trachea, but swallowed anyway. So... it's spooky season

I like perusing your works. Your style is different from mine and I like looking at it. Sometimes I think I've made garbage, but it mattered to me. I believe what you make should be for you first. People will like and dislike art for different reasons and it's not worth worrying about.

Ebony is having a good time. Festival dancing is part of her culture and though her country doesn't see typical seasons, they still dance to usher in other cycles of weather or special occasions. The Exumbran culture doesn't have as much respect for life and lost a lot more than they thought.

The heat has been terrible for me this year. My skin can't heal properly, it's itchy and dry. Lotion can't keep up and now all my stuff is greasy. My humidifier does nothing. If I didn't have a job, I'd be gone already. This is not the place for me. I get mad every year about this.

I have family who say this. I understand automation for things, but you can easily rely too much on it. They want you latched to that tit. Repeated customers forever because the drug works. Boy, will they get mad if you call it that.
