I was going to make a Halloween animation, but I'll start drawing Shadow's Mark instead. Still got a big workload I'm working through. I love Halloween so much, I might try to make one related thing at least. I am always celebrating privately. Buying the goofy chips and eating squashes.

You don't understand, I've been starved of rain out here and I'm so excited to see a grey, wet day. But this also means I'm wearing the wrong clothing and have no umbrella. It doesn't rain evenly and it's 10 degrees cooler than where I started.

Occasionally, I wonder why I haven't uploaded some of my work for HelluvaBoss or Mystery Skulls in the last few months/years. Then I remember it's because the projects haven't been released yet. I have also been super lazy posting Ghost Fuckers cleanup. I have no video editing program.

I'm still working on anatomy, so I find body horror hard to pull off well. I made something decent yesterday, between appealing to me and fucked up, but I still may need to push it more to see how much is too far. I should also just break the whole model for a background character, I have ideas.

Annually, I further customize my rented space with some strange things. I don't know what the vibe is to a new person, but its gotta be mixed. I desperately want a small house to make into a whimsical space. I haven't been able to display my dead animals.

I refuse to drop the actual plot going on in #shadowsmark until I have pages. I'll probably start rough drafts in the next month or 2, but I can't imagine dropping pages this year. Drawing Razor mad has always been fun and therapeutic. Same is true when he's being a menace just to amuse himself.

Labor day weekend and no freelance really helped me knock out a few things. I didn't feel bad spending half the day editing/ writing, then making quickly drawn weird horses. It's also great when the bird stays perched in my hair.

In dreams, we can't really read anything, but I found I also can't process gore either. It looked very AI. There was a woman with no brain from the front, but had a normal profile. She complained about a leak. The dog before her had a severed trachea, but swallowed anyway. So... it's spooky season

Doing some slight character redesign. I've been throwing stuff at Ebony for a while, but I know she's been kinda rough looking. Callan, whom I've been on the fence about, needs the most rework out of the 3. Razor, probably the least. I just keep drawing them cute for me and then don't share it.

Ebony is having a good time. Festival dancing is part of her culture and though her country doesn't see typical seasons, they still dance to usher in other cycles of weather or special occasions. The Exumbran culture doesn't have as much respect for life and lost a lot more than they thought.

The heat has been terrible for me this year. My skin can't heal properly, it's itchy and dry. Lotion can't keep up and now all my stuff is greasy. My humidifier does nothing. If I didn't have a job, I'd be gone already. This is not the place for me. I get mad every year about this.

One of my most hated sound effects in comics is "GRRR". I hate writing it in, it feels stupid and sounds flat. I can isolate the letters and it doesn't bother me, but G and R together, I just don't like it.
