Has fixed issue with having written too many good songs, crowd pleasers and classics to fit into one gig by playing two superb 1 hour sets back to back, solo and with fab band, so unlike most things actually cheaper overall than last year

In 2022 I collaborated with @DecoPublique and White Elephant Contemporary Art on portraits of 14 subjects that had made Morecambe their home. Entitled Destination Morecambe the sitters were all photographed in the art deco cafe, Brucciani of Morecambe. @wrenagency @wrenldn

Kenneth Grahame's original titles for The Wind in the Willows were 'The Mole & The Water Rat' or 'Mr Mole & His Mates'. He settled on 'The Wind In The Reeds' (this was the original title of Ch. 7, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn') then he learned Yeats' 1899 collection was 'The Wind Among The Reeds'.

Sadly, I've a dim memory from summer that all the red has gone from the bridge... hopefully it was it just being prepped for a repaint :)

Oh that's lovely, tick vg. Really good sport for a mural too as well as a somewhat mad and unexpected place to put the entrance to a car park

Very common in Norfolk and whole of UK at the time. This was one of a sequence of five similar mills crammed into barely 10 miles of a river that doesn't seem big enough to extract power from

Another old one from me this morning. 🔥Insert Burning House Metaphor🔥

Remember to tie something around your finger, a thread to the tree in the yard
and keep - for the love of God - the radio in your hand that opens up
a static throat through the black air calling.
Resign yourself to losing track,
Love is full of false walls and you can't save every room,
did they never ask you at school:
'What would you take from a house on fire', and scold you for answering 'The dog'? For risking your skin by lingering?
There is a you to lose too, in one of the bedrooms.
In trying to find the source of the crying, in carrying a body over your shoulder.
Don't spend your breath in asking thirst what you did to them in some other life or this one,
and try not to be embarrassed. Of course your stomach is dirtying your mouth, it's only natural, with the floor pulled down,
with these devoured stairs collapsing.

Yes, was a pic from last month and summer... went very sharply and straight to Autumn about 10 days ago I go watch molly dancing etc. in the fens in January which can be excruciatingly cold and bleak but really helps with some colour and something to do by that point in winter
