Fable really REALLY wants my attention. This is a new behavior. Laying in his bed on my desk, kneading the bed like preparing for sleep, then he reaches out to put a gentle paw on my arm as I type an email or other thing. And TODAY he really tried to get my attention. #cats #catpics

I've lived my whole life in the US PNW. Travel, sure. We have a ton of conifer trees. Those pics of valleys forested with nothing but deciduous trees turning red, orange and yellow every #fall? We don't have valleys like that, and hard to find an acre like that. This is our fall foliage.

OMG! The cafe's barista gave me the pumpkin mug again! I'm irrationally excited whenever I'm lucky enough to get it. Yay! And with my partially eaten pumpkin streudel, Halloween sweatshirt and flannel jacket on, it's just the perfect fall morning. 😁🎃😁

I picked up a copy of @pdjeliclark.bsky.social's A MASTER OF DJINN. I listened to the audiobook when it came out, but it's remained one of those fascinating, Wonder-full stories in my mind ever since. I've had chances to pick up a paper/hardback before and, this time, I decided to do it.

Here's #catpics #cats to brighten your day. Fable (ginger) and Myth (black) rarely play together, so it's exciting when they do! This went on for 1 whole minute and simply ended with both walking away. (Their play usually lasts for 10 seconds and ends with hisses and Myth escaping onto a cat tree)

I visited New England 2 years ago and loved all the maple flavored stuff that wasn't a donut or pancake syrup. So I got my own Grade A Maple Syrup, made my own goodies and... I've finally used it up!! Good thing I just bought this second jug :D #fall

I know it's early, but I been drinking pumpkin spice for over a week and, really, it's a high of 61F today. If this year is at all like last year, then it won't be this cool again for 3 or 4 weeks. So who cares if it's still *technically* summer. I'm wearing my #Halloween sweatshirt!

I actually have two cats. Fable the ginger tom, and Myth the girl in slim silky black. They're always ready for Halloween! Also, they literally never sit like this. Maybe once a year. And they just wanted to be near me rather than to play or get food out of me. It's very strange. #cats #catpics
