Just finished reading ‘The Lost’ by @leahfromsd.bsky.social. What a clever and frightening re-imagining of the Peter Pan story! The tense and unexpected narrative grabs you from the first page and doesn’t let you go. Highly recommend!

The first time I wrote a script with specific actors in mind, a supporting character (played by Tiffany Haddish in my mind) completely took over the script, stealing every scene with her brash dialogue and hilarious choices. So much fun!

#Scriptsky #TwoPageTuesday Drawing on 10+ years as the Gay-Straight Alliance advisor at my high school, my drama/thriller The Phrogger was inspired by the (often horrifying) experiences of some of my students. The script strives to honor their humanity, bravery, and resilience.

Two pages of a screenplay entitled The Phrogger. One page is a flashback referencing anti-gay conversion camps. The other shows a conversation between the teen protagonist and an unhoused woman who says that home is the place where you want to go and they want to take you in.
