I hear you! It’s also not too bad if you have a soft light underneath or a white blanket on your lap. Once I stitched 1-over-1 on black 25 count though and I’m not sure I’d ever attempt that again 😅

It’s really gonna change your life, Jarvis! Also I gotta show you my collection of needleminders... and did you know that not all scissors are created equal? I think my favourite cloth count is - wait, Jarvis? Jarvis! Where are you going?
