The founder of SOCKs (a local rescue we partner with via Super Furiends) lost her house to an electrical fire several days ago. They got most of the cats out of the house but couldn’t save four of their cats. Super Furiends is helping her network for placement of the cats that now have nowhere to go

I was at a hospital when 9/11 happened. We had taken my mother in for some test or another. I remember sitting in the waiting room and watching the news. Early on, no one knew really what was going on. We were in the car on the way home when the second plane hit.
