I used Discord.js to build the custom bot for my server. Great docs, easy to use, would recommend. My bot manages tournaments so it's moderately complex I guess. Happy to try and answer any questions if it's helpful to you.

I'm self-publishing because I want to design games that *I* want to make and play not just what will be deemed marketable to the widest possible audience. My game is anathema to publishers. People enjoy playing, but publishers won't touch it, so I'm on my own.
