for those curious, there is no way to contact the missing mail center in atlanta (not even congressional office can do that.) the only way is to submit a missing mail request with info about the package and images of the contents which i did, not long after it went 'missing' originally

its horrible that can even happen, even if i have photo proof and everything of my mail, but it has happened, i've seen it with fursuits. my package was insured, if it can be found/returned i'm happy to share insurance money, with whoever finds a listing or otherwise gets a hold of the suit safely

once a package is at missing mail center its fully up to the discretion of the usps employees to identify the package. i have detailed info sent to the missing search facility, but it's not a guarantee. i have a suspicion they want actual invoice/paper info in the box, and not

i have exhausted all options, even congressional help. all sources Strongly believed it was damaged in transit and label is unreadable. that could mean it is on it's way or being processed/held at the Missing Mail Center in Atlanta.

update : i a got off phone with the last USPS facility and they confirmed it arrived there, and was supposed to be shipped out 14th, but don't know what happened employee suggested it might have been damaged (or at least barcode) and could be off to missing mail and why it's taking so long

i have heard many stories of packages being in limbo, tracking numbers no longer updating, then showing up again. i'm still hopeful it will show up in the next few weeks my main concern is the weird tracking #. if it was processed at a facility and just delayed it would be a different situation

my fursuit is currently lost in USPS limbo it was misshipped to california and tracking never updated past 'processing'. there have been no updates since (including internal, which confirmed it was misshipped) usps consumers affairs is concerned it's potentially lost

it was labeled mis-shipped by USPS internal tracking and confirmed by local post office. Package was shipped from Washington to Oregon. The only tracking update I received was Processing at USPS facility in Danville, CA. It never finished processing. There are no updates since.
Missing mail search request and USPS consumer affairs consider it officially missing as of August 27th
