The film is written, directed, and co-stars Hitoshi Ozawa, a legendary Yakuza actor who is a villain in Yakuza 0, who got his fellow legends involved. This was his passion project inspired by one of his best friends, a trans woman, and he worked with the community for representative casting.

Happy 2nd birthday, UFO 50 <3

The bomber, gunner, warrior and mechanic from Mortol 2 fly into the air alongside a cake-in-progress in a cloud of magic sparkles. Conjuring the magic is Cloverana, looking mildly embarrassed as she waves a spoon around. Behind her are the Alien (Party House), Shadow (Quibble Race) and a particularly shocked Scout (Mortol 2). If you can, donate to Vibrant Health and the 988 hotline. Suicide prevention is bigger than any single pinball event. www.vibrant.org/donate/ When it comes to the Chicago PAPA events, it seems clear the power of the pinball community, especially at the local level, is pushing back against the IFPA.

PAPA 23's final preorder list is out and the event is down 44 players from PAPA 22 - or 16.67%. Notable folks missing include a large swath of the Chicago pinball community, particularly folks who play in the city. To quote a Chicagoan I talk to: "We all really like Kayla around here."

PAPA 21 - 209 Main, 168 Classics, and 29 Women's Participants
PAPA 22 - 264 Preorders, split amongst 240 Main/197 Classics/43 Women's Participants
PAPA 23 - 220 Preorders, currently in progress

We are two days into a new UFO 50 Bingo Season and there's already been some Incidents. Here's one with absolutely zero context:

A "Hydrogen bomb vs coughing baby" meme, but the word "bomb" is replaced with "bat", the bat sprite from Barbuta is on the bomb, and the baby's head is replaced with the Barbuta Knight's head.
