📣 NEW! I’ve just released the BIGGEST and perhaps most creative project I’ve ever worked on! “Searching for Birds” searchingforbirds.visualcinnamon.com 🐤 A project, an article, an exploration that dives into the data that connects humans with birds, by looking at how we search for birds.

Would you not just write it into a grant which covers the experiments, but doesn't ask for staff costs, stating that your employer will fund the fees and stipend of a PhD student who will deliver the work in the grant? It would be part of the institutional support spiel.

Try a Teams call right to work check with passport to get paid for running labs for a different department within the same university. The Teams call became a in-person attendance at the departments HR the year after. Nope, you're going to need someone else to teach this lab.
