I think a big part of it was that he interrogated the inherent weaknesses of being a typical male right from the jump in such a major way with Eraserhead... The whole thing is just, "wanting to fuck so desperately is weird and it scares me." He didn't just try to ignore it like most do.

Very much of the opinion that David Lynch was America's greatest artist. The notion first struck me when going to a gallery of his in Philly years ago, he was able to pick up on the dichotomies of American life in ways no one else could. His work was truly transcendent.

Those AI podcast things really underline the fact that the entire AI industry is being built with scamming in mind. What possible creative use case is there? It's just a slop hose that scammers can use in the hopes that they can steal some advertising dollars before anyone notices
