Sept 7, 1977: Billy Idol and Generation X taped an appearance on Marc Bolan's TV show, MARC -- technically, their first TV appearance anywhere. Bolan died 9 days later. The band used Granada's instruments to perform. The drum kit was "not returned," so Granada TV issues them a 10 year ban

It feels weird to say this out loud, but I'm doing everything I can to be a kind & supportive uncle to my only nephew. I'm not saying my aunts and uncles weren't kind & supportive, but very few of them made any real attempts to get to know me. And this kid is growing a good heart.

All about hammerlocks and other wrestling crushing. with a hoarse-voiced Mick McManus-type taking the lead, Droning backing. Obviously amusing; but with a tremendously compulsive best and feel. Could prove a biggie.
