Is...is that hope that I feel around Marvel Comics...no...that's not possible...it can't be!

This is the shit I like to hear. Not only the amazing creative team for Captain Marvel, but no more just pitching for 5 and hoping the title isn't killed era of Marvel. About damn time!

My partner and I move into our new place in less than 10 days. There are a few costs that we are a little thin on being able to cover. Any help including sharing the word is beyond appreciated. gofund.me/7e62a56f4

Industries gets smaller and smaller, more and more people are out of work, and the same small group of shitheads get richer and control more stuff. Capitalism is broken shit.

TEN Days Till Moving! I'm so fucking excited. Still so much to do but I'm floating on cloud nine right now.

Scott Redmond @scottredmond.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Sure, why would you want to use storied legacy household familiar names like Paramount or Warner Bros when you could just be something vainly silly like Skydance.

Scott Redmond @scottredmond.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Manager is probably one of the "worst" positions, cause no matter what you're the easiest scapegoat to point at. Even if the onus should fall on ownership or the front office. Giants were a trash fire and will likely fire coaches as "the solution" outside of off-season moves.

010

Scott Redmond @scottredmond.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

The Giants final game went the way their whole season has gone, a loss. What a dreary crazy year for the team. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong.

It's wild how they want to pretend that these generations are both old but also young to blame us for everything at the same time.

Truly. She was one of their true new solo character successes in the vein of Spider-Man, which they hadn't really achieved in decades. And just threw that all in the trash.

Review is fucking brilliant and depressing at the same time, which is part of what makes it so good.

Simon Kinberg writing? Centered on the Skywalkers...again? Yeah, I think I'm good on watching Star Wars films. Disney trapping themselves into the same shitty hole over and over again.

Imagine telling your younger self that one day a company would charge and people would pay hundreds of dollars for a video game where they don't even actually get the video game itself.

All part of Marvel really trying to push Kamala as an X-Man, while also doing pretty much literally nothing with her on any sort of regular or big basis at the same time.

It is a dangerous precedent to decide that mocking people who believed an alleged victim is okay bc you are then communicating that it is always ok to do It is also communicating that victims should not be listened to unless there’s a guilty verdict which is also bad

Miracleman being on the new Avengers, after the way he's debuted, has got to be one of the most ridiculous things. Also, really doesn't help the visual of this far too white version of the team.

"In The Pale Moonlight" From start to finish this episode was just perfect, and really hits hard. Sisko living up to the Vulcan's "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one" with the stuff he did here.

Just an absolutely amazing piece of television. It resonated so heavily with me when I was young and it debuted. Avery Brooks was a powerhouse as Sisko, through and through.
