I'm definitely not paying. I do use Vivaldi browser which has some really good ad blocking. So, I pulled up the site on a browser that does not block ads. I see two really poorly placed ads that lead to asking for a credit card. Are you seeing something similar to these?
Screenshot of the Ongoing History of Protest Music with two hand drawn orange circles around ads that say, "continue to start. Open." and "activate account" Screenahot of what happens when clicking on the "activate" ad. It reads "mobile activation. Continue. Access in 3 easy steps. Step 1"

I disagree. Aella is *infamous* for admitting publicly that she doesn't shower for weeks at a time.
Three posts by Aella:

Aella
@Aella_Girl
Within the last full year, I showered on average once every 11.4 days (down from 10.7 last year). I had a 1% higher mood, on average, on days I showered vs days I didn't. My longest sustained shower streak was 1 day, and longest gap with no showering was 29 days.

Dude, no one is going hungry because you can’t get your peas picked. It’s more likely that “professional pea pickers” are in Montana or N Dakota where even if the pay is lower, it’s not a billion degrees and 200% humidity. Besides, you’re insured against this kind of loss so it won’t hurt you.
Map of US with state outlines. The title reads “Pea Production by State 2026. The map uses orange dots to represent the amount (size of dot) each state produces. Montana and North Dakota are huge dots with Washington, Idaho, and Nebraska all small dots. Alabama has zero dots meaning it doesn’t produce enough peas to register on the map.

Summary: Cartoon drawing shows a ghostly William Marcy "Boss" Tweed standing in prison with a diamond shining bright despite his prison uniform and the fact that he had died eight years previously. He leans against a placard showing men laying sacks of money on the lap of Justice that reads "Bribery & corruption right under her nose every day in the week." Tweed died in a New York City jail in 1878 after being convicted of forgery and larceny. Thomas Nast had dedicated his career to bringing down the Tweed Ring with a series of famous cartoons, and continued to use the power of pen against those who remained to run Tammany Hall, the executive committee of the Democratic Party in New York City. Tammany remained a strong entity well into the twentieth century. This was one of the last of Thomas Nast's cartoons to appear on the pages of Harper's weekly.

I know it's a bath scene, but its the first one that came to mind.
A detail from 16thC woodcut by Albrecht Dürer depicting men bathing. The detail is of one man with his long hair pulled up into a bun at the top of his head, resting his arms on a pillar and altogether naked except a pair of very short braies aka linen whitey-tighties.

Just some things on my mind.
This is a graph showing Napoleon's disastrous march to Russian during the winter of 1812-1813. the y axis is the number of troops in napoleons army. The x axis is the distance from krakow to moscow. A wide band of tan goes from left to right getting much narrower. This represents a loss from 400,000 to 100,000 soldiers. A narrow black band starts at the right and gets extremely narrow as it goes back to the left (meaning from Moscow back to Krakow) representing a loss from 100,000 to a mere 10,000 soldiers.This is the movie poster for the 1993 film, Stalingrad. Four German soldiers bundled up in heavy coats, scarves wrapped over their heads topped with soft brimless garrison caps and dusted with snow or frost look toward and beyond the viewer with grim expressions on their dirty, bruised, and chapped faces. At the top of the poster, red block letters say, "bis zum lezten Mann..." And in the middle of the poster very large red block letters read, "Stalingrad". In smaller black letters, "Ein Film von Joseph Vilsmaier "

If only Disney had some Kind of commentary on authoritarian strong men...
Cover of sheet music in red, black, and white. A large humorous caracature of Adolf Hitler is being hit in the eye with an equally large tomato thrown by a relatively smaller Donald Duck in his trademark sailor suit. The force of the tomato not only knocks Hitler's hat off, but also causes the clean eye to form a swastika which is a parody of using exes to denote when a cartoon is dead. The title is in red modern German block letters and reads "der Fuehrer's Face". In white sans serif follows " from the Walt Disney motion picture". At the bottom reads,"Words and Music by Oliver Wallace." Also on the page is "title page ©1942 Walt Disney". " Southern Music Publishing Co, inc. 1619 Broadway, New York." "Buy war bonds and stamps foe victory"A black and white flyer showing the upper body and head of Donald Duck without a hat and wearing a long, loose sleeve shirt hugging an Oscar trophy. The flyer reads: "Once again! Academy Award for best Short Subject cartoon... Der Fuehrer's Face my sincere thanks Walt Disney and staff. Distributed by RKO Radio Pictures, inc."

Doctor I trust more than RFK Jr.
A 1523 etching of a dentist, his assistant, and his patient. The dentist is an older man with a gray handlebar moustache and close trimmed beard dressed in a coat with a fur collar and a broad-brimmed hat at a jaunty angle. Beside him is a covered table with an array of small containers and medicines in paper or bags. A pole stands nearby with a small banner and a piece of paper with an officials looking seal. The dentist is digging deep into the mouth of his patient who is dressed in a worn doublet, torn pants, and peasant shoes. The patient has his head tilted back and is looking away from the dentist and over his shoulder at the dentist's assistant behind him. She is wearing an embroidered chemise, dress, and over-dress with a purse and knife hanging from her belt. She is looking down at the patient's belt bag which she has open with one hand while the other hand plunders for valuables. The etching is by Lucas van Lyden and is dated 1523.
