Guinea pigs for all those prototype death traps you're working on. (More seriously congratulations! I might consider going back to the Academy now that I know you do apprenticeships).

I am obsessed with Jimmy's work, especially his horror stuff. Now that you're adding names and cursed little nursery rhymes I'm even more obsessed. Can't wait to see Finnegan's first feature film!

But my experience is a bit different. We published Legacy of Vecna (super niche lvl 20+ adventure) Apr 15 and currently have 287 sales. We've also seen a bump of about half that in previous products. Nothing life changing but also not nothing and probably on par with past sales.

The proliferation of AI slop saddens me tremendously. I have no doubt it significantly damages the Guild. But I wonder if there might be other things going on with respect to the Alchemist? Disinterest in buying 2024 updates of previously existing products perhaps?

Legacy of Vecna is officially live! Please consider checking out 5th edition DNDs first epic level adventure! Link is in the comments -- as well as 75% off discount codes for Epic Characters and all of our previous Doomed Products.

One of my favorite set pieces from our upcoming Legacy of Vecna (April 15th) is the Doomed Outlands which were brought to life by the ever-amazing @sagamack.bsky.social. This evocative map has so many stories to tell.

Scott Mcclintock @scottmcclintock.bsky.social · 10/04/2025

Also to fit the epic scale of this adventure we used this vastly improved 5e Orcus stat block made by the mad genius Isaac Minarik. Let us know what you think!

One of my favorite pieces of art from our new upcoming adventure, Legacy of Vecna, is this iconic picture of Orcus made by the incredibly talented @jimmynijs.bsky.social. Be sure to check out the pinned post to have a chance to win a free copy!
