And I'm going to state unequivocally that the @metcouncilmn.bsky.social should provide annual operating funds to @hourcar.bsky.social, and it should be far in excess of a million dollars. This was true in 2002 when we first asked them for support and it's more true today after proof of concept.

Once again, Mr. Lindeke researches and posts an idea as reasonable as it is brilliant. I'd only add that I would gladly pay a premium to street park in key areas when I do have the car and maybe family in tow. Meters = turnover = more customers who want to spend money going through.

TIL you are (apparently) fully allowed to bring your children with you to your polling place and voting booth (in Minnesota)! She seemed genuinely curious, and later mentioned she had done elections at school for class president. Proudly wore her "I voted" sticker. Pretty neat.
