Stigma by L.M. Cole
CW: Mental Health, institutionalization
Wind has a way of whispering through grass, through flowers, through leaves of trees. If I lie in the green and close my eyes under the sun, my vision turns pink. I am a a stargazer lily unfurling in the warmth of day, wind whispering through me. In this light, I am as lovely as the flowers, as freckled, as beloved. The wind stirs my hair with a sigh, as if to lull me to rest.
