Imagine having to pay to get it published and then getting rejected with that. They could've said I'm just the PhD. student, they would rather have an article from a top researcher. #phdproblems And no, I'm not publishing there again cause they already have an article so what's the point?

Well, BMC journal/Animal Microbiome just rejected my research article because they already have one from my group under review (my boss' article) & they want diversity. Fun because this means that if you work your whole life in your area, you should send all your articles to different journals.
