Orks are fun? They might be the easiest pathway to 'what passes for joy in 40K,' because they love a fight! I try to incorporate pastels into my paintjobs so people know I value whimsy. RT and 2nd ed. had bright primary colors and the irony was less buried under 'serious wargame rules,' I felt.
