Today, Sept 30, we observe National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (#NDTR). Established as an official holiday in 2021 in response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action, NDTR honours the children who never made it home and the Survivors of residential schools.

On April 6th, 1996, the first ultra-high field (4T) human MRI scanner outside the US (and 4th in the world) dropped into my brand new lab @schulichmeddent.bsky.social ‘s Robarts Research Institute in partnership with @lhsccanada.bsky.social . 30 years later we have 3, 7, 9.4 and 15.2 T scanners.🎉🎉🎉
