Okay I was wondering what was going on in the second half of the email they sent to alumni announcing he's resigning his remaining positions. Was such a nonsequitur that it seemed to answering questions I didn't even know I should be asking.

Bard maintains a fair, impartial, and accessible Title IX process to ensure every member of our community feels safe and supported on campus, including training for all first-year students on gender-based misconduct and sexual assault, including bystander intervention training. Our approach is trauma-informed, centered on how the complainant wants to proceed, and includes the option for complaints to be filed anonymously. When a formal complaint alleging sexual harassment or assault is filed, an independent external investigator conducts the review and submits a report to an impartial hearing chair. The college president has not had unilateral decision-making authority over Title IX investigations or adjudications since the 2015-2016 school year. Our message to everyone in the Bard community is simple: if you file a complaint, we will investigate it fairly, thoroughly, and with the utmost respect for your safety.

Shockingly given it's the Post, the top comment is actually based (they're responding to a quote in the article about it being literally Hitler to make elderly people walk 5 extra blocks to the bus).

I was needing a rollator to walk 5 blocks to the bus at the beginning of the year. You know what the walking did? It made me strong enough to walk the distance without the rollator. I never use it anymore and I just turned 80.

It hadn't previously occurred to me that the recent "Hide reposts in feeds" setting might also block quote posts. If it does in fact do that seems like it'd be good to make this two different toggles, can't really repost storm with quote posts quite the same way you can with straight reskeets.

On the 1/18/25 version of the site all but one DoD person has their full name though. So I still think this reads as an expansion of unaccountability. I'm kinda confused what the old standard was now, thought it might be being intelligence but in both versions you've got full names for NGA people.
