More progress finally! If I need a break from working on the wig, I might just work more on the shoes. I'm working on the wig specifically because I'd like to do more makeup tests, and I'm likely going to test run the wig and makeup at our local Renaissance festival too.

I did some doodling today to figure out the boots! It can be tough adapting WoW's shape of boots to real life, and I'm also doing 7in platform heels LOL I don't want to be smol orc lady, I wanna be TALL! In these heels I am 5'11" which.. tbh good enough LOL.

I did some makeup tests back in March of last year for a TTRPG stream! Not sure I'll do the white marking in the final cosplay, but it was fun! I ended up loving the contacts *A LOT* so I'm going to have to practice wearing them and get my eyes used to it when I get closer to actually being done.

I briefly started on the 3d sculpting of the shoulder skulls. I started from the in-game model so the shape/size would be accurate, and am basically making it "high res". This was my first experimenting with this at all, and I'm very excited to do lots more! First step was ripping them apart tho

I most recently wore this one to work, just last Halloween! They dangled a $250 first prize for a costume contest, so of course I had to literally bring out the big guns. I did complete my full day of work in the cosplay as well LOL I'm IT, they already knew I'm weird 😜

This is the first costume that the first time I had it all on it just felt *right*. Getting "into character" was really easy. It's also definitely my most worn costume at 10 wears! I actually wore those ridiculous platform stiletto heels until they BENT. They were not, in fact, made for walking.

Howeverrrr the first pictures of this were... not good LOL. I really hated that wig and was really happy to have replaced it, and I learned that even with bright white markings on my skin.. some photographers are gonna make my skin tone match that. 🥲

Only wore it twice. :( Learned a lot tho: -Don't wear stiletto heels in a costume where you can't properly sit, also add ankle braces + gel insoles -Giant Aradani elf ears require a LOT of help, not worth -Shoulder armor attachment is HARD, also ouch -I ❤️ LEDs

Bottom skirt prog pics- Used a basic A-Line skirt pattern for the base, drew my details on paper matching the bounds of the skirt pattern Cut out a ridiculous amount of 2mm foam for the gold detail Covered it all in gold spandex - mod podge front, hot glue back Glued gold to skirt with e6000
