Xal’atath has joined Heroes of the Storm!

Xal’atath is the first new Hero to enter the Nexus in six years, though we've been quietly making big changes along the way.

33 years ago today, the Stranger stepped onto the dock of Myst Island for the first time. We can still hear the water splashing against the pilings.

The dock of Myst Island from the original version of the game. A wooden dock ends at a spiral staircase that leads up to giant gears on a hillside. A ship is sunk in the water on the right, and parts of buildings are visible on the left.

An image of a human standing in front of a wooden board covered with maps, articles, and pictures, with red string and pegs connecting items together in a chaotic, yet organized, fashion. The human is wearing dark pants and a white shirt, with an intense expression on his bearded face. He is holding his hands up as if to be in the middle of explaining something passionately while grabbing a picture of an orc that is taped onto the board. A handwritten title at the top of the board reads “11.0?” Other items on the board include a map of Kalimdor with a photograph of Blizzard employee Terran Gregory taped in the middle, a picture of a pirate ship, a picture of a social media post from Blizzard President Mike Ybarra that reads “No pirates.”, a picture of the sword in Silithus with a note that reads “What sword?”, and various other items. A pile of mail sits on the floor in the background.
